How do I enroll for MetLife TakeAlong Dental?

It’s easy.  You can enroll online  or with one of our experienced customer service representatives at 1-844-2METDEN (1-844-263-8336).

What are the dental programs available through MetLife TakeAlong Dental?

You can choose from several dental PPO program options—individual dental insurance policies featuring a Preferred Provider Organization. These programs give you the choice to see your dentist.  And if your dentist participates in our network, you’ll typically save more on covered services.1 For more information, go to metlifetakealongdental.com and enter your ZIP Code to see the programs available in your area.

How would I pay for coverage?

The choice is yours. Your monthly premiums can be paid by check, credit card or bank draft. At time of enrollment, you will choose how you want to pay.

Can I enroll my dependents for dental coverage?

Yes. Once your policy takes effect, you can still add dependents to your coverage.  You simply need to provide MetLife with advanced written notice along with any required premium. The effective date of coverage for newly added dependent(s) will depend on when we receive notice and required premium.

** Based on internal analysis from MetLife.

1 Savings from enrolling in a dental benefits program will depend on various factors, including type of program, cost of the program, how often participants visit the dentist and the cost of services rendered.

2 Based on MetLife data. Negotiated fees refers to the fees that in-network dentists have agreed to accept as payment in full for covered services, subject to any co-payments, deductibles, cost sharing and benefits maximums. Negotiated fees are subject to change.

3 All services/procedures, including those listed, may not be available under all programs and benefit options.
