Volunteer

Employee engagement and volunteerism underpins MetLife Foundation's commitment to the communities where it operates.

Volunteering with purpose

MetLife celebrated the fifth anniversary of Volunteering with Purpose, an annual month-long campaign to encourage colleagues to volunteer in their communities.

Skills-based and pro-bono volunteering

Through the MetLife Skills for Impact program, employees apply their professional expertise to support nonprofits and social ventures. Volunteers have helped grantees improve operations, build financial tools, and develop revenue models.

Volunteer Project Fund

MetLife Foundation established the Volunteer Project Fund (VPF) to encourage MetLife employees to volunteer in communities where they live and work. MetLife employees (at least a team of five employees) are eligible to apply for a grant for the non-profit organization at which the team is volunteering. To learn more and how to apply for VPF review the MetLife Foundation VPF form.
